I know we're all super-depressed about Rafa at the moment, but I thought I'd post the pictures I took last night of his match against Davydenko. Horray for 2-day vacations??? Yesterday I took advantage of that and went to see the new Macross Frontier movie!!

Oooooooooooooh Sheryl, I loved you! And Ranka was good too, while she was singing. ^-^

It is the first part of a two-part movie series (yay!). They changed quite a bit from the TV series, while still managing to use some of the footage right from the anime series (ala the new Eva movies). Overall though, I was quite impressed!!! I LOVED some of the new sequences! Of course, I'm biased as I am in love with Sheryl Nome and there was an AMAZING concert scene of her right in the beginning! Not to mention Vampire!Sheryl x Innocent-dreamy!Sheryl.. I can definitely appreciate that!! Ranka was cute as well, but she was pushed to the sidelines for the most part, and although her and Alto were made into childhood friends, his lack of interest in her as opposed to Sheryl was very obvious. (Although Sheryl could do so much better!!).

Ahhhhhhhhhh, love stories that revolve around music... For some reason, I just love them! I wonder why.. Now if they just took out the fighting/robots/etc, Macross Frontier would be one of my favorite series ever. At least this time they pushed all of that to the sidelines until the end, so the movie gets a big thumbs-up from me!!!!!

Today Sheryl's first album, Universal Bunny, came out! It's a CD in connection with the movie, made to look like she is a real person and featuring all of her music from the movie.. gotta love that kind of marketing as well. Of course, it's lovely.. my only complaint is that BOTH of the songs from her Pink Monsoon single are on it, making the single into a bit of a waste of money. T-T I can't wait until Ranka's CM-compilation movie CD comes out... it's the same thing, only with the exception that Ranka's only real songs were a ton of CM ones! OMG Natto... that was hilarious! And of course they repeated the Carrot one. And just WAIT for the Construction-worker one, lol...... =D

So I definitely meant to have a chapter done by now, but I don't have it. I'm off to Greece, and I'll be back on Sunday, which means I won't even be thinking about computer related activities until Monday night.
