Why, oh why, did Kirihara have to go home? Otherwise, it'd be fun crack with Jirou-mun. But Kiri's gone. And the comm seems really slow.

Otherwise, that's all that I'm doing anymore.

I'm caught up on fics. I'm reading Golden Compass for the zillionth time. I watched RENT today, Chicago yesterday. I hate the next part of Battle Royale and don't want to read it because, in my opinion, it's the worst part. Which is saying a lot because it's all about kids killing each other.

I don't want to start anything because I'll be gone the next couple of days (New Years Party and work). And the only thing I really want to do on the computer is write this Hana-Kimi story that's been bouncing around my head for a while.

But whenever I try to write it, pure crap comes out.

I've been bored lately. Like, mega-bored and it's a relatively new feeling for me. And I just realized why I've been so bored.

Part of it's the internet's fault. Because I've been finishing manga series that I've been reading for a few years through scanlations, that until recently, I couldn't because I had to wait for the book releases. And I've also been turning to just starting and reading whole series solely through scanlations. Like Deathnote. I read that whole series in about 4 days a few weeks ago. All scanlations.

And Hana Yori Dango, which I started about a year ago and did a marathon read of volumes 1-23 in one night. Well, I just finished that series last night. And, this wasn't through scanlations, I finished Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne earlier this summer too.

And Fruits Basket. That was one of the first series that I started to read and I was good, reading up to the 15th volume in book format. But once I finished book 15, I turned to scanlations and finished the series. And a big part of my anime/manga life seemed to end with that series being over.

But anyways, back to why I've been so bored/restless lately.

Normally, I get hit by obsessions when it comes to fandoms. Like, I started out in the Inu Yasha fandom and that was a major part of my jr. high life. Then I moved into the DBZ fandom during that time. And from there, Fruits Basket, which will always be a favorite of mine. I've dabbled bits and pieces here and there in FFVIII, FFX, and FFX-2.

And then came Gundam Wing. Which throughly wrapped me up for over a year. And I still hold the most fics for the Wu/Mei pairing as well as the longest story in both chapter count and word count.

After a while, though, it lost my interest and I soon discovered Tenipuri. Which has kept me pretty well occupied for the last year and a half.

But through all of this fandomness, I've usually kept up a pretty steady rate of either a series or several fics a year. And since I've gotten involved with Tenipuri, I've written just a few fics and only one mini-series. The last thing I wrote was Dreams, the fic for kimby77 so many months ago. But that's been okay that I've written just a little because I've been involved with other things, like RPGs.

But I don't have any projects right now. Other than Subrosa and I have no ideas on what I'm going to do for that. But I've got no AMVs, no fics, no sites, no anything.

And I need something to do. Badly. Because it's seriously driving me batty not having anything to do.

I'm bored. So we should all know what time it is. That's right, meme time!
